Beginner-friendly Kokedama Orchid tutorial

Learn the basic steps to create a beautiful, living, indoor decoration with kokedamas! These kokedamas are balls of moss that provide a unique substrate and watering medium for types of plants that are well suited to low-humidity environments.

Instead of sitting in a pot that gets air flow on only the top side, these plants live inside a ball of moss that gets air flow on all sides. These kokedamas are beautiful, but take a level of dedication and maintenance to care for properly and ensure that your plant thrives.

In this video, I create a simple Kokedama with beginner-level materials that can be found in any greenhouse/nursery for purchase. While these will require a lot of care and watering to ensure the moss stays hydrated, you can upgrade and play around with Sphagnum moss as well (following the same mossy-steps).
