Flashing Firmware To Furious FPV Piggy OSD

Here is how to flash firmware to your Furious FPV Piggy OSD. It's similar to the Minim OSD Micro but a couple differences. I also show you how to get your hands on the MW OSD 1.7 pre release firmware which is much like Betaflights OSD.

If you use the USB-Serial converter like JC's it will require drivers. The same drivers pointed to by the title page of Betaflight.

FYI double check your ftdi pinout before connecting, mine is backwards from what the furiousfpv and JC's boards are. I hope i didnt fry anything

Hi, I am using the kombini FC, am I right in thinking you don't need to flash the firmware and I can just plug direct from the piggy to the osd using the ports provided on the kombini and piggy. and then simply solder the 3 cables in the top left of the piggy which go to the camera and I am done?

hey man! quick question here, i have the furious ftdi and piggy v2, but now the rx led on the ftdi is not working and i cant access the osd, did i fried it??? it was working before

I need some help. The config is 1.6 and it states it not compatible with the version fw. I've tried both the latest chrome and original type config.Where can I get the compatible version config you're using?

what if I'm not using a FC, do I still need to flash new firmware, I'm just going straight wing with a runcam micro and wanna put the piggy on it.

IM USING KISS FC WHEN I HIT UPLOAD IN ARDUINO IT SAYS MENU0 WAS NOT DECLARED IN THIS SCOPE. I DONT THINK IT UPLOADED FIRMWARE TO MY PIGGY OSD. ANYWAYS PLEASE HELP

I'm getting a not enough memory error trying to compile MWOSD for Arduino Pro or Pro Mini... Anyone know how to fix?

Someone please help. My camera only works when the USB is connected to my Omnibus F3 board. As soon as I disconnect it from the board, I cannot see through my camera. I feel like it has something to do with my board not getting power from my battery. When I plug in my battery, no lights turn on on the board, as they do when its connected via USB. But everything seems to be connected correctly. I'm so close to finishing this build. Someone please help. Thank in advance.

Thank you for this. Everything was successful for me except when I went to open up the GUI just like you showed(old GUI, windows 32), I get a pop up window title "javaw.exe" that says "Windows cannot find 'javaw.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." HELP!!! FWIW, it opens fin on another computer so this appears to be a computer software issue.
