Yeah, GoodNotes 5 is the clear winner. But in terms of writing, nothing beats the feeling you have when you write in Notes app specifically in ‘pencil’ mode. It’s as good as writing with a real pencil.

Got my my iPad Pro 2 days back…was In favour of notability (earlier) but this video really helped me out and finally went for GoodNotes 5. Thanks man.

ONE NOTE is everything. I love the fact that it can be used across all the platforms and for free with both typing and writing. And attaching documents is so smooth and customisable. A lot of times i am typing on my laptop with my ipad on and it just syncs so well as I go. The only downside is that they don't have all the word editing features and smoothness (eg for pictures and line spacing and table edits etc) and the colours for highlighting and filling are not that great. But that doesnt hinder much. I used goodnotes 5 for a whole year before switching to one note and i wish i had done that earlier
Goodnotes 5 is definitely better than notibility with their new update. The only problem with it is importing documents like word or powerpoints or any webpage. The pdf it creates are so disorganised and all the formatting just goes to trash which is a plus with one note.

I have used notability and goodnotes for a while and after that I started using notability for an year now. I feel it's simple and nice. I felt goodnotes I'd overwhelming for me. So I feel notability is better for me atleast. And digital note taking is game changing .

NCERT spiral bind with white paper & notebook for extra writing space
to write I 2nd generation ball pen
to erase there is a strike feature
And I am satisfied with it cause I know it will be very distracting for me

Two things you got wrong, notability does have a presentation mode for months and also has an option to erase the highelighter first.
