How Our Brain is a Mini Model of the Universe

Michio Kaku once said, “The human brain has 100 billion neurons, each neuron connected to 10 thousand other neurons. Sitting on your shoulders is the most complicated object in the known universe.” But what if I say that it isn’t only a complex object in our universe but a replica of the universe itself at a smaller scale? No, I am not kidding. In a paper named “The quantitative comparison between the neuronal network and the cosmic web,” researchers found scientific evidence that stated that the universe is just like a giant human brain.

So technically our Brain is like a vast universe.. or we're probably living on someone's else brain with a vast imagination.

Man, I like these comments. We all have such interesting, wonderful ideas, from all kinds of backgrounds and beliefs, and everybody's being respectful and contemplative. And it's great to see that there's interest in the questions this video brings up

Because we still don’t understand our own brain, I strongly believe we as humanity are missing something really huge.

So our brain functions by sending small electrical pulses throughout the neural network...but might that mean the universe can briefly experience thought by gravitational waves through its chain of matter?

I know it seems outlandish but we don't quite know what it is about our brain that makes us conscious so, the entire universe could in theory obtain consciousness

We are trying to find
" Secrets of the Universe "
But still don't know about our only brain much

Its absolutely astounding how we have around 80 billion neurons and around 100 trillion connections to our neural network. Like what?

I always thought the iris of the eye looked like a galaxy and in the center is our pupil that let's light in like a black hole. Idk why it's pretty cool if you think about it

I would think that we could compare the electromagnetic activity correlation as well! Great video! Thank you!

In Buddhism, the human brain is considered the microcosm and the universe the microcosm. Like a teeny teeny drop of the vast oceans is a microcosm of the entire majestic oceans and thus holds the potential of enormous power.
I, as a medical doctor, have been fascinated by this subject for a long time

So what if there is a small universe in everyone's brain?

What if our brain is universe and we also live in someone's brain

We are the universe experiencing itself.

I like the idea that the universe is infinite in this “lateral” type of way. The simple rule of things having being more likely to exists for longer cycles as they get larger. (Particles that blink in/out happen to connected and become enough stable to form protons and neutrons, become stable enough to form atoms, and so on)

It fractal, self-similar. It’s as near as it needs to be to confirm that you are everything else that there is.
