The ArcGIS Online map viewer can display maps in projections other than the standard Web Mercator Auxiliary. You might be surprised to learn that you can do this in one easy step. This video will show you how to do this.

Thanks for the video, but it should be a drop down searchable list for user to pick the coordinate they would like their web map to be. It's not a good UX in my opinion.

How do I find a map server URL? Do I create this? I have uploaded feature services but this doesn't seem to be the same thing. How do I create a map server? Thank you

Great; thank you. Do you know if at some point we will have the capability to add a layer to a projected layer and have it project on the fly? I realize that is a lot for the browser to process and right now I only know how to do that in Pro, but just curious whether it is planned for ArcGIS Online. Thank you.

Hey i have this layer that i shared to AGOL and it shrinked from its actual extent once it reached AGOL so i thought maybe it was caused by projection in AGOL. the layer was shared from ArcGis pro and there is no URL to use. please you assistance will be highly appreciated. Than you

Once I have changed the basemap and projection, if I then add layers to the map and then change the basemap again (i.e. say back to Imagery with Labels), will it preserve my projection or revert to that of Imagery with labels?
