Steve is one of the nicest most humble people you ever want to meet. Did an interview in college with him during the album virtual xi and we had 15 minutes with him but he ended up talking to me and my co host for over an hour as he puts it, “it’s nice to talk to actual maiden fans instead of someone that just asks the same questions over and over.” Still have that interview on mini disk

Having both Priest and Maiden on one single stage together would be a metal dream come true!

Priest and Maiden touring together - like a heavy metal wet dream.

Glad to hear Steve praise PoE here, a mighty fine Priest record and strangely underrated, first one I bough of theirs along with Maiden's Killers. Fantastic release year for so many classic bands.

I seen Maiden open for Priest in 82, St. Louis, MO, first row center, with my snuck in camera. Best concert ever.

I saw Maiden back in 1976 at the legendary Cart and Horses pub in Stratford East London. My mate Paul Mario Day was singing for them. I didn't even know he sang for a rock band. Nobody knew back then just how big Maiden were going to become. I wish I could remember more about that evening. I just remember entering the pub and the first few minutes of being surprised at seeing my friend singing up on stage for a heavy metal band. Sadly nothing more 😟

I saw Maiden opening for Priest in Albany, NY in 1981 and then again in Glens Falls, NY in 1982. I was 11 for the first one and my stepdad took me, then the next year my mom took me. Awesome shows, and I've been a metalhead ever since.

"Desert Plains" is my favorite song off Point of Entry, and one of their most underrated songs of all time (Steeler of British Steel being the other), in my opinion.

Saw Priest on opening night of their current tour in Reading, PA. Was shocked they played Desert Plains!

Iron Maiden & Judas Priest are the worlds best heavy metal bands in United Kingdom & the worlds.

I saw that same tour in May 1981 at Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo, NY. Earlier that same month I saw Motorhead ( No Sleep) open for Ozzy with Randy, Sarzo and Aldrige. Man- the Golden Era!!!

That would be a dream come true for me. Seen them both plenty of times, but never on the same bill 🤘🏼

Just wait. If this happens Eddie will never stop saying: "I made it happen!"

Only problem way that video is its not long enough. Always love to hear Steve and his thoughts never seem to hear enough of him.

My mate told me that he went to see judas priest at the sheffield City Hall and supporting them were Iron Maiden many many years ago and he said every one in the audience were saying how good Maiden were and that Maiden would go on to be massive how right they were up the Irons Lee Hambleton from Sheffield

Dude Id love to see a Priest/Maiden double header, but it would have to be Judas Priest first. And it needs to be a solid 2.5 hour set from each band, maybe a 30 minute intermission

Saw both bands (and many others) playing at the Gods of Metal in Italy back in 2008. Unforgettable.
