Before Tim Walz was a governor, he was a teacher and coach. Ben Ingman was one of Walz's student-athletes and told the Democratic National Convention about his experiences with Walz.

This video reminds me of what I love about America. OUR SPIRIT IS UNMATCHED! Period. Except in these days of Trump Republicans. And I don't mean all Republicans - I mean TRUMP Republicans.
Our Spirit has truly been tested. Trump Republicans have long forgotten what it's like to be on a team of any kind! They have forgotten what it's like to have your neighbor's back and them have yours. They have forgotten what it's like to be decent and civil. They have forgotten how to have a GROWN UP conversation. How to compromise. And most of all, how to simply be respectful to others. Sadly, there are only a handful of current Republican leaders that I would pick for my team. Or have sit at my table for a meal. Can you imagine MTG or LB or MG sitting at your family dining table? With your kids or your perhaps your mother? It's difficult to imagine how some of these people got to be who they are. It is truly sad.

We NEED people like Tim Walz. This is the feeling I want where I live. Not division, chaos, disrespect and hatred. A team CANNOT WIN if you don't play together in an organized, well thought out, respectful way. And hatred doesn't even belong in the conversation. Any conversation.
