Pittsburgh offered a 2nd and a 4th rd pick. They offered BA 28mil, sf offered 26. Sf plays a lot of games in high tax states, California being around 9%. Pa is 3%. If you figure the road and home games in both places that are played every year, if he's paid the exact same amount, it's 2mil a yr more in pa than ca. That basically puts the 26mil down to 24 from sf. They're going to have to pay him over 30 mil a year to make up the difference just to get to the same salary. Make more tax more. Pittsburgh also plays in ga and a few othe liw tax teams this year. Every year they have 10 games in pa and oh at 3%. You don't think Pittsburgh put that fact in his ear?

Look...the Steelers traded away Johnson cuz he was becoming a diva. AB was traded cuz he was too much of a distraction. IF u bring in Aiyuk its gonna be more of the same...and it's not like Pickens hasn't had his diva moments as well. I say go with what you got or maybe bring in Juju as a possession receiver opposite Pickens who is you're number 1. Austin can be the speed threat and Jefferson, along with Juju, can provide the team first veteran leadership that Pickens and Austin and now rookie Wilson need. That or just bring Kordell Stewart back😂....
