A video I made showing my TC ELECTRONIC COMBO DELUXE 65 plugged directly into my PA system.... It sounds clean, loud, and just like a Fender amplifier should and even has the tube feel about it - a great piece of kit, and I will eventually get some live footage of it for you to see.

Thank you man, very "real scenario" review!

Thanks for posting that and nice playing! Not enough clean reviews out there on these amp simulators. You mentioned that you don’t use a compressor pedal anymore, but I have found *all* of these amp sim pedals, including this one, have a fairly significant compressed sound built in, compared to how a real amp sounds when you’re standing in front of it. I think they do it on purpose because really what they’re simulating is the sound of a mic’d-up amp, and no-doubt the mic feed and downstream signal chain usually has some compression applied on it before it comes out the PA or ends up in a recording/mix. So I don’t think it’s so much a lack of compression being out of fashion in the UK as much as it is all the signal chains these days have it all built in.

Anyway, thanks again for posting that. Take care.
