Welcome to my Channel AIZ TechGlobal. This video explains how to reset the LG magic remote and to register with LG Smart TV's.

Try first holding the home button and back button for five seconds then you’ll see blinking red light on the power button for three times. Press ok button (scroll wheel) and it should work. Tv message will say Remote has been successfully registered. If this method doesn’t work turn off the TV manually. Wait approximately 30 seconds and on it back. It should work fine after turning it back on...

Thank you!! Have a 2018 lg tv with an mr 18ba magic remote, now just bought second 2020 lg tv and it comes with an mr 20ga. Try to test if the 2020 smart remote is compatible with 2018 tv and it is 100%. But when I've try to put back 2018 remote there's no pointer. Now working.
