The Sun wheel symbolism

I can't speak for what it meant to the norse or other people, but to some this would also represent what we might call a medicine circle nowadays. It seems to be an ancient thing from the research I've done, that not all but many cultures had this in some form or other. It definately includes the solar cycles and path of the sun as it crosses the sky. I came across something BC that indicated that these people (more eastern than western probably) when building a sacred space with the entrance in the east (rising sun) and acknowledged the directions as well. Something that can still be seen in some western cultures too. Thanks for sharing 😊

Was thought to be the sun untill rock art depicting a obvious sun next to it was found.. in sweeden I think..I think its supposed to repersent the wheel all kinda cultures depicted flying carts or flying chariots..
