Hey enjoyed the video, one tip that might have worked ( I didn't do the ctf) would be to just run the filechecker my_file > something.txt for like a couple minutes and then grep that file for it later on! Enjoyed the video

Maybe redirecting the script.sh stderr to /dev/null would make the output more clean

Maybe outputting the filechecher loop to a file and then running grep on that when you see the flag would be better for finding the flag. Or is it possible to run a simultaneous grep on the output file as it is being populated with the output from the loop? Anyway great job john

I always freeze the video on home directory leaks, but I don't judge. Don't worry, we just know that you're into infosec, and when the video was recorded. Everyone knows you're supposed to use a Linux VM or live disk to watch your prn. LMFAO
