I have fallen in love with Undertale and all of its characters, especially Toriel – I really loved this early song from the game, so I wanted to try to write lyrics for it from her perspective! Had lots of fun teaming up with Jules again for this one, and I'm so happy with how beautiful and nostalgic he made the music sound. I swear to God, I tried moving on from the game. But damn, months later I was sketching and was playing some music when my phone started to play "Home." I was just frozen in surprise and I couldn't continue what I was doing, so I just sat there staring at my sketchbook, listening to the ost. And I was like.. "Man, fuck it, let's revisit this community" It's so cool how Toby made the OST so nostalgic that everytime I hear their music I can't help but just feel a wave of happy emotions. This game is seriously something, nothing can top this in my list. sorry for rambling and bad English btw, not my lang.

My sister had a child almost two months ago. She's still an emotional wreck as he's her first. However, I showed her this song today and, well...

She was crying with the biggest smile on her face.

yesterday there was a huge fire in my city, I was evucated from my home. I was afraid, afraid to lose my house that has so many of my memories in it. I listenes to this song and while I was crying inside me it made me relaxed and gave me hope that my home will be fine. today I was able to come back, and thankfully it was the same way we left it. thank you for helping me in such a critical time.

I know this is 4 years old at this point, but this is the "lullaby" I sing to my 5 year old nephew with autism on days I'm babysitting and have to put him to bed, and it really seems to calm him. I love the love in this song!
