Offloading On The Go with the Samsung T5 SSD

We're sharing some info on how we planned to carry out on-site backup of ~200GB of footage from the Inspire 2 and keep shooting while on a job.

Which ports did you plug into on the MacBook?

Some MacBooks share a Thunderbolt bus between multiple ports

It’s worth repeating the test using different ports. If the ports you are using on the MacBook for both the T5 and the drone footage are on the same bus, you’re saturating the connection.

To check this. Try transferring from the MacBook hard drive onto a T5 and see what speed you end up with.
