I got this new espresso machine by @merakitechglobal and I have to say it makes some great coffee. Everything is measured and controlled with precision along with the powerful milk frother that makes smooth foam. Only thing missing is some latte art. #ad

Couple tips for steaming milk. You want to have the steaming wand slightly angled in your pitcher so you can create a vortex as opposed to straight down. This way it evenly incorporates the steam and doesn't overaerate (over-foam) your milk (Unless that's what you were going for.) And not all milks are equal. Run of the mill milks from Kroger/Ralphs aren't very consistent with making latte art. Usually high fat whole milk from Whole Foods are consistent. And final/important tip, latte art is just looks, if your latte tastes good to you, who cares if it has blob on the top

I recommend you get better coffee than Starbucks. No need to buy something super expensive but find a great specialty roaster in your area that does a great espresso roast to pull better looking shots. That and less aeration in your milk will get you awesome results!
