It really good lol, I started watching anime again because of its release and also found other animes to watch while waiting for a next episode

Ok I have to say y’all have no idea how different this anime feels for those who speak Russian. Every time she says something in Russian I understand it alongside the mc and it just hits different. Something about switching languages on the run makes it feel like you heard some secret and the phrases she uses are so f*cking adorable. I was honestly worried when the anime was announced because anime and movies really don’t have the greatest track record of making Russian sound correct or at least bearable, but so far they nailed the perfect balance of Alya having a cute accent while also pronouncing the words well enough for us to understand. (Except for the scene with her flashback in Russia, everyone speaking there was f*cking atrocious, maybe because they actually spoke in complete sentences for once)

There are parts of Roshidere that can be really emotional. I stuck with it for the characters because of the gremlin sister and masachika being unbothered by the world, it’s such an interesting collective of people that you can’t help but smile… even if the burn is catastrophic… if you know you know.

Masachika is one of the reasons why the anime is so good, like it’s something a lot of romance animes struggle with like look at bunnie girl senpai, ignoring all the other things that make it great a good male lead like sakuta who is closer to a real human than most romance mcs who are the same stubborn ignorant guy who gets annoying because of that, mc’s like sakuta and masichika are great examples of characters that are interesting and perfectly fit the main girl in the show which makes their dynamics fun and interesting to watch, along with having real problems and acting like genuine people instead of the same copy and paste personality
