This is by far the best review of this book, on YouTube. Well done.

I really enjoyed this. You read such a great variety of books. I remember Creating Minds as being quite good

Hi Eston.  This was a great review, and I have added this book to my need to read list, it sounds like it is full of wisdom.  I find that as I get older the wisdom of the ancients has come to mean more and more to me, I think in some respects they held a view of life that is extremely relevant to today's world, even more so than some of the more modern philosophers.  When you were talking about sacred spaces, I discovered that one of my most sacred spaces is the library because without it, I think my life would have been very different.  Thank you for this discussion, and have a great week.

I read this when it came out and didn't like it... but of course can't remember why. This was long before goodreads and such! I've got Meditations lined up soon, so maybe immersing myself in one of these great thinkers will be more effective for me than reading about a whole bunch.

I remember when Haidt's book appeared and liking it, very much. Thanks for the fond remembrance and for bringing attention back upon it. (I especially like Chap 3.) I also like Charles Frazier so shall be reading _Varina_ sometime soon. Are you into James Joyce? Chk us out at #Dubliners2019 and maybe you'll care to contribute? Great video!
