How To Install Fascia and Soffit

In this video I will show you how to install fascia and soffit. How to install soffit and fascia is shown in great detail here. I use vented soffit and 6" aluminum fascia. I show how to cut fascia, how to cut soffit, and how to install F channel.

I am a do it yourselfer and love the way this guy explains how to do a job correctly but also reminds you of the hazards of doing things wrong. I've watched many vids in which the guy turns out to be a bonehead. Not this guy, He's bang on.

Great idea with the soffit jig. One improvement could be adding a measuring tape from the cut line to the outside, so you wouldn’t need to spend the time measuring and marking for every cut. Repeatable and fast!

I use same gig but make it slightly longer. I add tempory stop with couple screws so I don’t need to measure each one. Goes twice as fast and more accurate
