I bought the exact RMR-86, and it works great! I didn’t use the mold disinfectant because after spraying RMR-86, I didn’t feel like there was any mold left. One thing to note—the smell is very strong, and it stings the eyes. So, don’t forget to wear safety glasses and a mask. I’d recommend getting the all-in-one version; it’s much better. Also, I added more insulation in the attic to help prevent high humidity.

I don't know - maybe.
I think the main thing is to stop the cold air mixing with the warm air and causing condensation.
So maybe seal up the air leaks or missing insulation

Great video, thanks!!! After the 141, is there any benefit in spraying a stain blocker like Kilz which will form a semi-permanent layer. It looks like a previous owner (abut 10 yrs ago) had a remediation service do mold removal in my attic. There is a thin white coating on several sections. Some mold has grown back there but most are clear with mold now on other untreated areas. Would Kilz help keep mold from growing back or is it just a waste of time/money after using 141?

My attic has open holes towards the bottom. big enough to where birds can fly in. i haven't been very good about opening windows and venting in the past but just this year im noticing a lot of mold. It gets insanely hot in the summer up there and freezing cold in the winter. I did have water leaking in from 2 spots where screws were placed but it wasn't too bad. most of the mold that has turned into dark black spots are near screws. could this be the cause?

Recently discovered mold in attic due to humidity issues... had my roof done 2014 and just finding out that thr roofer failed to installed a ridge vent. Found mold company quoted ridiculous price... will be getting a new roof but decided to deal with the mold myself... question do i need to get one of those vacuum ?
