Fake beggar! Pregnant panhandler has a Benz, lives in expensive apartment in San Diego

We’ve all felt sorry for beggars and many of us have no doubt opened our wallets for them. This story shouldn’t turn us all into Scrooge, but it does prove that cons come in all shapes and sizes.

Melissa Smith of San Diego had noticed a pregnant woman and her young son begging outside Eastlake Village Center over the past couple weeks and Smith felt sorry for the poor pregnant panhandler — until she one day observed the beggar getting into a Mercedes Benz!

Unsure what was going on, Smith followed the Benz. Looking inside, she noticed that the driver and the panhandler were a couple.

A few days later an angry Smith observed the pregnant panhandler get out of the Benz and walk over to the same begging spot. Now even angrier, Smith tailed the car again and watched as it pulled up to an upscale apartment complex.

Smith next sent the car’s plate number to a TV station, which found it was registered to an address at the apartment complex, where rent is $2,500 a month.

Exactly why I don't give money to beggars... Never know if they're fake, or if they'll buy drugs with it etc. And rich people are assholes, the only way to stop them is too show them people whose lives actually do suck.

I've seen this so many times. I end up just giving food instead of cash. You can tell who really needs it and who just wants tax-free money by offering a meal rather than dough.

CPS should take the kids away and put them in a foster home while the state takes the parents home and force them to live on the streets for a couple of years.. that'll teach them a lesson.

Huur duur people can be poor on government aid and totally be driving a benz. Think of their situation DUURRH  HURR!! Yea fuck that. I worked at a grocery store and lets just say America's so called "Poor" were better off than us working folk.
