New Record! 270 Hectares Combined in a Day, Tackling Rye Grass & Tractor Troubles

We set a new farm record by combining over 270 hectares in a single day! This achievement is a testament to our team's hard work and the efficiency of our equipment.

However, the day isn't without its challenges. A puncture on one of our tractors renders it useless while we wait for the repair. Despite this setback, our spirits remain high as we continue to push forward with the combining in Lincolnshire.

We're joined by David from Western Australia, who shares his insights on tackling the rye grass problem—a challenge his region has faced for years. His expertise provides valuable strategies that could help us manage this issue effectively.

The day ends on a high note as the Fendt Crawler is finally back up and running, ready to continue its vital cultivation work. With the crawler in action, we're set to make even more progress in the fields.

Join us as we navigate these ups and downs, sharing the reality of farm life and the resilience required to keep things moving forward.

but.... you've most certainly clarified you're the channel that offers the perfect match of detail, humour and overall great content.

as a wise man told me on site in the 90s... "you'm doin well... don't fuck it up"

The sheer disregard for the Letter 'E' by the Kiwis is amazing to witness.

It would have been an advantage to have had these videos available when I was a student 40 years ago.

Excellent clip as always, your problems are all very similar to everyone elses just on a far bigger scale. Sadly since coming out of the EU the uk have a big opportunity to lead food production in Europe by allowing the use of certain products in your chemical armoury but they never will. Looking forward to the next update.

Well James another great update and your still smiling and laughing. Down here in South Wiltshire we cant blame the mud lumps for being to hard to cause a puncture as it normally contains a Wiltshire Diamond ( Flint) that causes all the damage.
very interesting to here the Aussie take on Ryegrass and a wake up call focus not to be complacent. Hope the weather holds and all the best.
