I take my IBEW aptitude tomorrow, your videos really helped me get a grip on things these past few weeks. I’m hoping to wind up apprenticing in an industrial setting too. BIG QUESTION, do I need to bring my own tools? I have a good amount of general construction tools but can’t find out if I need to go drop a Benjamin on electrical tools. Everywhere I’ve looked for an answer haven’t felt reliable.

Im a month into my apprenticeship and the experience and learning the stuff is cool, the journeymen i worked with first was a dickhead would get mad at me cause i didn't know anything but now im on a different crew and the new journeyman im with is cool as hell. One thing tho is my feet br hurting after my shift kinda annoying

Do you have to go through IBEW to find an apprenticeship program? I ask because I used to work for an electrical contractor as an Electrician helper. I would help wire new houses. I'm starting to work for the same contractor and I would like to work my way up to a journeyman. Please note I'm in Georgia. Non union.
