Hello sir my laptop has nvidia graphics card as output in hdmi (1650) so I have brought usb type c to hdmi but nothings happens (the adapter has USB port also it’s work but hdmi not works )

Oh man it doesn't work I don't know what to do. My second monitor is just not detected and all that holding down option bullshit does not work. Also it doesn't even show me the multiple displays tab in settings just one tab for setting of my main monitor. I am on Ice Lake
