President Trump called his predecessor former President Barack Obama "incompetent," on Monday during a roundtable with restaurant industry executives at the White House. Trump claimed he inherited a broken military, tax system, and economy from Obama.

I don't know if any of you guys remember this, but in the first year of Trump's term, the U.S. experienced economic growth. Now this wasn't exponential growth, but it was still pretty significant and Trump was quick to claim credit for this. However, some people and economists pointed out that the growth may be the result of what Obama did in the previous term being carried over.
Now fastforward 4 years later, you have Trump contradicting himself and saying that our economy was supposedly "broken" when he came into office. Make of this what you wil but to me, this is just furthur proof that Trump's trying to deflect blame away from himself after mishandling this whole pandemic.
