TIP: ride the wave don’t fight it. I have oily skin (and acne!) and I love this combo. I learned that embracing the *right* glow products melt into your skin better thru out the day. I don’t understand why people say this is too much unless you don’t add anything (obvs…) I use a Matte or satin foundation plus blur powder. Basically once my oils start to break down the layer underneath shows, but it’s like a “controlled shine / glow” vs a straight up greasy glazed donut look when I try to do all matte products only.

I actually no longer wear foundation my base is the halo glow. I do rest of my makeup and it just looks more natural, I love it. I need to try this sunscreen

I have super dry skin in the morning, but my face gets super oily during the day. I love putting the e.l.f halo glow on before my Dior foundation, and then packing on powder. I like a soft matte base and the e.l.f halo glow just makes such a big difference. I learned this combo from gabriella marie's "perfect base routine" video, which I'm so happy I found because she also has dry skin that gets oily during the day. I would for sure recommend her video if you're looking to perfect a soft matte base. :)

That is so gorgeous!! I wish e.l.f made a shade of Halo Glow light enough for But I'm DEFINITELY picking up that sunscreen as soon as I'm done w/ my MUJI! That glow is beautiful.

It depends on a persons skin, preferences, teqnique and adjustments for skin like you adding concealer. I think this would be a great addition to my summer makeup routine!
