DJI Ronin-S + Canon 80D | How to Control the Canon 80D with the Ronin-S?
Показать описание
To control the Canon 80D using the DJI Ronin-S, you first need to connect the included RSS IR cable to the on-gimbal RSS port. Then route the cable so that the IR output is lined up with the IR sensor on the Canon 80D grip. In camera mode the Canon 80D must be set on either the 10 second or 2 second self-time/remote shutter modes. This will allow the record button on the Ronin S to trigger the shutter. In video mode, you must go to the last camera/video setting and enable Remote Control in the menu. This will allow the record button on the Ronin S to start and stop recording video. When the Canon 80D receives an IR trigger input, you'll see a yellow light shine on the front as an indication.
Keep mind this will not trigger the shutter or start/stop video recording if the camera is not in use if you have it setup to automatically turn off after a period of time.
The shutter release is required if you use the Ronin App for the Timelapse or Motionlapse functions. Makes sure your delay is at least 3 seconds since the self-timer minimum is 2 seconds. If you setup the Canon 80D to perform its own timelapse in video mode, make sure to use the track function and not the motionlapse function since this will cause the recording to start and stop with the Ronin-S Remote Control function.
