The info you offer in the video is useful - cost vs returns. If people want to spend big bucks, then so be it. Keep it up Ian. Anywhere a junction can oxidize can create a diode effect and distort at least half the waveform. therefore, good quality OFC wires matter... internal Geometry design is very important also

Normally I find people reviewing their own builds a bit less than credible because of the IKEA effect. But you make a convincing case for these cables. I’ve made a note of the recipe so that when I have kit that deserves it, I’ll make some.

I have built myself a little tda 7297 chip amp powered by 12v car battery. I made inters using Cardas phono cable. With off cuts being used for internal for the amp (very short runs) I am using Chord rumor ii to a pair of old JPW's. It sound well! My caviet being speaker and inter cable as theyre not cheap..only. if these could be replaced with as good or better I'm all ears

I would like you to try something if you are interested. See if you can get your hands on 2 pairs of copper cables that cost the same amount of money, or very close to it. One pair of solid core copper, like AudioQuest, and the other pair should be stranded, like Kimber or Cardas. Then put them in your system and do some listening. Compare them to each other, and note the differences. Once you start listening, you'll see exactly why I'm telling you to do this. You'll learn a great deal about cables. To be clear, I'm not saying you don't know what you're talking about. You'll be adding more information to what you already know.

firstly, get a basic high-end audio system at least (power amps with high current (stereo or mono), with Strong power supply with massive high-efficiency toroidal transformer and 60.000/100.000 uf large filtering capacitors, cd players/preamplifiers with dual monophonic supply/separate transformers for analog and digital stages), if you want to hear difference between speakers cables...with system you own, OFC (oxigen free copper) cables, 10/12 AWG ( American Wire Gauge) cables are enough... otherwise is just placebo effect

When you consider that the high frequencies (which is were silver comes into its own) travel on the outer edge of the cable, having pure silver cable is a waste.

Having used the cables made with silver cladded copper and I have got russ andrews cables and I am replacing with gome made as they sound better at a fraction of the price.

In my humble opinion, and what seems perfectly logical, and unavoidable, is that the best cable in the world can only have the lowest resistance, the lowest inductance, the lowest capacitance all per meter. Moreover, it must have the highest insulation between the two potentials, i.e. the +, and the -
A manufacturer who does not provide these parameters, should not be taken seriously...
Any other explanation or theory should be considered as snake oil !

Try Silversmith FIDELIUM CABLES. I was able to borrow a pair cause I couldn’t afford them. They make a beautiful sound.
