Jen Psaki gave a warm introduction to her successor, Karine Jean-Pierre, who will be the first Black and openly gay White House press secretary.

She was regional political director for the White House Office of Political Affairs during the Obama-Biden administration and deputy battleground states director for President Barack Obama's 2012 reelection campaign.

Math doesn't lie - this is selection through identity politics. If no identity politics were involved, and people were elected or appointed by the content of their knowledge, virtues, and character only, and assuming all of us are indeed equal, the statistical probability that the US would have a Black female Vice-President and a Black Female LGBT Press Secretary at the same time is around 0.03%, or three one-hundredths of one percent, for those that are math-challenged (7.2% of Americans are Black women and 6.4% of American women are LGBT). And how convenient to mention these things. There was a guy name Martin Luther King Jr that once said "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." I'm still waiting for that day.
