God Is Going to Interrupt You

Fr. Mike uses the life of St. Maximilian Kolbe as an example of how God is going to interrupt us if we choose to do his will. We may love schedules, like Fr. Mike does, but life is unpredictable and tends to create a dangerous environment for our schedules. No less happened to St. Maximilian, who had plans for his life before being sent to Auschwitz. The inconveniences put in our path may not be that extreme, but be prepared to be interrupted if you want to be a saint. See interruptions as an occasion for holiness.

"I do my best" lol I love Fr. Mike. This is so true though. I was at the top of my game at work, in the best shape of my life, had A GORGEOUS bf who I thought was the world and money to blow. Then within 5 months, my bf almost died in a car wreck & I got very VERY ill & diagnosed with fibromyalgia. My whole world STOPPED. I lost that bf after nursing him back to health. I lost my job. Lost most of my friends bc I wasn't "fun" anymore. I had no money. I gained weight bc I couldn't workout. I was so depressed. But in this, I came back to the church. He brought me back to Him. I became so much closer with my family. I started speaking to my sister & father that had been estranged for YEARS. What I thought was the worst possible thing and the biggest interruption of my life, became my greatest blessing. I love having a reminder of it like this video. He WILL put you on the path He wants you on one way or the other.

Fr. Mike, I was so moved reading the story of St. Maximilian Kolbe and how he sacrificed his life In Auschwitz so someone else could live theirs, that I, a Jewish woman, converted to Catholicism. Thank you for this video.

I am sitting here with an open mouth. I am actually German and come from Berlin-Spandau and there is a church in Berlin-Spandau I know very well and it is called St. Maximilian Kolbe Church. Thank you Fr. Mike I always enjoy your videos and they are just the right speed for my ADD. The reason I am writing. I really appreciate you telling us about St. Maximillian Kolbe. I had the opportunity to go on a pilgrimage with Fr. Richard Perozich to Eastern Europe to the cities of Prag, Viena and then Poland. I visited Auschwitz I & II. There are so many amazing Saints in Poland that you gave me a great reminder. The other amazing priest I meet was Father Sebastion from the cathedral of the madonna of Czestochowa he taught us a beautiful song about la madonna Negra de Czestochowa our holy mother, she is amazing and strong.
