A.I. generates dislocated images. As a professional film editor, I will be blown away by A.I. the day you can generate, and do the bare minimum of editting 3 simple consistent shots together of 1) a long shot of a character walking in the park, 2) that same character sitting down on a bench, but, cutting in the movement to a close up of his face. 3) Then cutting to a close up in the movement of his hand reaching to a bag of bread crumbles. 4) Cutting back in the movement to the same first long shot of him who is sitting on the bench, throwing the crumbles to the ducks in the water.

All of this WITHOUT slow motion and WITHOUT camera movements, meaning static shots. The day you can generate this editable footage, I'l be blown away.

As Kubrick and Tarkovsky once said, the essence of cinema is editing. (For example for music it is rythm, for video games it is gameplay)

A.I. can generate the most beautiful images in the world, but if it is uneditable, it's worthless.

That is the only big issue as of now, Image to video still would be the best way to move forward on your project as of now since it help you to have an idea of what you gonna get as the end result, plus having the full control over an image with editing as we want it prior to render. lets see maybe in near future there will be somethig useful

excellent comparison video . what i can note about Kling 1.6 although it doesn't have the camera controls active it is very responsive to the text based camera direction you type into the shot. so if you add to your prompt tracking camera left or 360 shot or handheld or whatever you describe, it will adhere very well to the camera directions you type in. so even without the explicit camera controls being available in the interface it's probly still highly viable to go with Kling 1.6 and get the shots you want

It’s kind of useless for cinematography without ’Image to Video’ though. I’ll revisit once camera controls for ‘Image to Video’ start producing good results.

Building a VR world is prob a better way to achieve ultimate control and consistency. Soon enough we'll have text to VR, then just control the camera shots from there.

without image to video, all camera movement features worth nothing :(

This channel is invaluable for people like me who sometimes get overwhelmed by the plethora of tools out there. Thanks so much!!! Btw, did you use any tool to extract a prompt from your stock videos?

Hi I am interested in Ai a lot! The ability to tell a visual story is amazing. I'm interested into making short form films using ai but I have no training in editing or film etc. What skills would one need to be able to make videos using ai? How does one stay up to date on the rapidly changing landscape of ai? Thanks for the help ☺️

Very helpful! I wish these had been available when I was using Hailou to animate my 200-minute-long series. 😑

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GENERATE VIDEOS IN THE V-LOG FORMAT? Or something similar. Cuz I don’t want a random color grading in my videos, I wanna make it myself.

You can prompt camera movement in Kling 1.6

Minimax now has teleport that’s image to video and it’s amazing it’s all I use on my channel. 🦋🦋🦋🦋

I can see how you 'd want to show off Minimax camera presets, but from the examples you gave, I don't follow how between Kling and Minimax you declare Minimax the winner. I've had much better results with Kling honestly, exactly for the reason that minimax injects golden sunlight bursts and neon colors into shots and morphs a lot more.
