I'm from NJ and I eat salt water taffy quite often but I've never had the maple flavor

Bearly scratched the surface here.  There's yummy treats in Pennsylvania's Amish country.  Not to mention Philly and NYC.

The guy in the leather jacket is my favorite. I love the way he puts things, my sense of humor lines up with his.

What's with the maple theme? Vermont's really the only state in that region known for it's maple syrup, and saltwater taffy comes in just about every flavor known to man.

Maybe Ben & Jerry's ice cream? That was created in New England and comes in plenty of fun flavors.

i lived in mass most of my life, and i always called it "peanut butter & fluff", but maybe that is because I grew up in CT.

I panicked with the Fluffernutter. It's just such a MA/CT thing...hard to explain that shit to 'outsiders.' God, I love that trash so much...

What's up with the maple? We may be close to Canada, but goddamn. What about whoopie pies? Neapolitan banana splits? Spice cookies?? Frozen lemonade?? Strawberry shortcake??? Fuckin' New York styled strawberry cheesecake??? I don't understand.

Fluffed nutters are the Massachusetts state sandwich because Marshmallow fluff (and subsequent fluff-infused foods) was invented there, which was a big deal for the state as the company who holds the patent owns several smaller companies, and those companies and factories created thousands of jobs. it's a comfort food, it's not meant to be gourmet, nor is it meant to be healthy.

Fluffer Nutters aren't treats in Mass, they're just lunch sandwiches

Rhode Islander here.
So sad there wasn't anything to represent us, like coffee milk, Del's frozen lemonade, or Iggy's doughboys.

Nothing made me happier than seeing my beloved Fluffernutter on the table. I saw it and went THAT IS MASSACHUSETTS.

woah woah woah woah you can't show all of the Northeast region of the US and then focus only on the states that are basically the furthest north; what about Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania!?

Me, who has grown up in Pennsylvania, would have enjoyed seeing something from their state (like an Inside Out Pizza or an authentic Philly Cheesesteak straight from Philadelphia).
