HAHNTENNJOCH Austria // KTM 1290 Super Adventure S // UNCUT ONBOARD

After a long Corona break this was my first high alpine mountain pass that I rode in 2020 and it was already Mid-September. I was on my way south for 6 days of offroad riding. I had my Mitas E-07+ tires mounted and finally could put them to the test on a paved alpine road.

The Hahntennjoch is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.894m (6,214ft) above the sea level, located in the Austrian Alps, in the Bundesland of Tyrol.

Great roads, scenery and weather with a lovely v-twin soundtrack. Excellent job! 👍

The roads you choose are always amazing but what amazes me the most is: how is it that your videos are never interrupted by some dumb commercial and trust me I am watching you from Italy and I cannot watch any YT videos without being interrupted/bombarded every 5 minutes! Good vid as always. Cheers

In may 2019 we had to drive back because the road was closed, nice to see the scenery we missed. Keep on posting vides.

What do you think of tires Mitas E-07+ are they good with the Curves?
Does it cause jolting on the road?
Thanks for the great video.

This road looks amazing. Would love to ride it. We have a few high mountain pass roads somewhat similar.

Hello. The E07 tyres seem to keep the bike nimble, how were they, and are they the E07+?
What's that screen you have on, I thought you had a GIVI screen?
Cheers 🍻

Another Great Video Mate, was like watching a James Bond Movie following that sports car over the Alps Haaaa. Yeah the Mitas E-07+ Tires after 6 days of off road riding did very well on the Paved alpine Road. Yeah Speed limit might be 60 KMH, but The KTM makes its own Rules LOL Just sitting here in NZ having a Cold Beer dreaming of the Roads you are riding, great stuff, Party on, Ride safe, cheers paul

Too bad you didn't include the southern side. I've been there in june and the whole road was empty, i literally met only 2 cars and 2 motorcycles. I'm also interested in your opinion about the mitas E07 tyres, i was about to buy them but i sold my BMW to get a 1190 and it comes with new CTA 2, so i'll have to wait another season until i can try those. Will you post videos about your off roading trip?

I see that you change the Gvi Shield against the Puig sport during high temperature rides.I do it the same way.

Motovibe man, how’s would you say the KTM 1290 SAS is for the rain/water? My Ducati is allergic to water. There is so much maintenance I have to do when the bike gets wet, or it’ll have some problems. I’m thinking getting the 1290 SAS or the Triumph tiger 1200. It rains a lot where I live during the year. I want a bike where I can use to got to work.

As always, nice ride. The speed limit in the entire area is 60 by the way....(just to save you trouble. The police are there often)
I see a new windshield. How does it compare to the Givi at higher speeds (buffeting?)
