My older neighbor growing up had a wife from Korea he met in the service in the Korean War. He talked about when he was stationed there he had a hut he bought for $8.00. He met her and she would take care of the hut, washed his clothes, made him breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast was ready when he woke up. She would bring him lunch. Dinner was ready when he got home. She would get fresh vegetables and meat every day. He had chickens for eggs and meat. Cow for milk. Her family had a farm. Said he never had to ask her to do anything. It was like she read his mind. He was a Colonel 0-6 making $600.00 a month. Said at that time it cost him $50 a month to live like a King Said he was treated like a millionaire. Married her and brought her to the states.

This is why I am retiring in Thailand. No more Western entitled women. I would not be embarrassed at all to spend $18. Anything that saves money in my pocket is great. So spending a huge amount of money on a date is stupid, especially when she ghost you after the $200 meal!! Who is the loser now???
