If this isn't a requirement already, since my experience taking Driver's Ed, it should be.
And that is, if you live in a state that experiences snow and or ice, you should have to learn winter driving.
For example:
1. Have to drive in an empty lot with and without cones (with snow on the ground). Many people I've talked to, remember either their father, mother, , mom, dad, older sibling or friend, taking them out to an empty parkinglot after a snowfall to do donuts and learn how a car handles, turning, stopping suddenly and accelerating.
Students should know the experience in driving the car erratically. Brake hard, stomp on the gas pedal, turn the wheel sharply. This will allow the student to get a sense of what the car cannot do in situations of losing control and learning the limited ability they would have to gain control of the car. .. Etc
And another thing.. Those little white lights atop traffic lights at intersections, that are there to warn drivers of approaching emergency vehicles, need to be enhanced to something more noticeable, like an actual flashing emergency light, that's used on the emergency vehicle. And any warning sign, that has flashing lights to alert drivers there is a traffic light around a sharp bend or there's a side street unseen, that, that sign ONLY flashes to give drivers ample stopping time when there actually is a traffic light about to turn red, car at a side street stop sign, pedestrians at a crosswalk... Etc

It’s a problem that needs streamlining but as long as u can demonstrate your vehicle was stolen at the time u will be off the hook on fines and problems.

I haven't seen the Chicago Police do a traffic stop in years. I think you have to be driving on the sidewalks or into oncoming traffic to get pulled over.

You know if you enforce the laws that are already in place and punish criminals you won’t have these problems and you won’t need to pass 187 more traffic laws for things are are already illegal. Or maybe stop voting Democrat.
