I don't doubt Jay can be a good QB, but the testament of being a great QB is the ability to lead your team down field for a game winning driving over and over again. When I see he can consistently do that, then I'll know we got our guy.

This is the best “re-building season” I’ve seen in my life. Haha I’m happy 17 has got a Quarterback, finally.

Here is what people don't get. The system a QB plays in makes or breaks them 99.9% of the time at the college level.

LSU runs an NFL caliber passing scheme. Look at their history of pass catchers and QBs. Daniels operated at such a high level in an NFL ready scheme. Him and McCarthy will have the best carryover into the NFL. They are coming out of high caliber NFL ready systems. USC, NC, etc are not NFL translateable offenses. When was the last time USC or NC produced an NFL legit qb? Williams and Maye will struggle. It is a massive leap in comprehension. Oregon is kind of in the middle. But they have a good bit of pro caliber concepts in their scheme. Nix will take a couple years to get into his identity. Daniels and McCarthy will be an immediate success.

Terry sounds like he’s talking about an established vet that deserves nothing but respect. Washington fans should be a little excited for their future.
