I know all that but I'm trying to find out is why the record companies chose those various speeds.
Why 33 and a third? Why 78, why 45? Do these speeds have any mathematical significance or relationship?

My old hifi(yes, HIFI)had a 16rpm setting. Have you ever seen/heard/had a record that plays at 16rpm?

My EAN0S700 turntable is spinning too fast. Is there a way to adjust the speed? And even the tonearm is loose as in the cue lever is not functioning, how can I fix this?
