Indians Can’t Visit This Place!

I made my travel dream come true. I went to the other side of #Kashmir! It's nearly impossible for Indians, including my wife, to visit this part of Kashmir. So, this journey is for you all.

We start from #Murree in #Punjab and head to Muzaffarabad via Kohala. The dhaba we stopped at was Gilaniyah Hotel Restaurant. It's past Kohala on the way to #Muzaffarabad. It's not on Google Maps or anything. The viewpoint at the end was at the Pearl Continental Muzaffarabad.

My driver's info (not sponsored, I paid full) Haq Nawaz Abbasi +92 0300 505 8247 or +92 0321 530 6532.

Karl this is a very emotional video for me. As my grandfather and my family is from a small town called Kotli, District Mirpur, Kashmir (Pakistan). My grandfather migrated to New Delhi in 1947 after the partition. My great-grandparents, grandfather's first wife and his sister were left behind and were killed in riots (Mirpur Massacre) on 25th November 1947. He and his brother had to start thier lives from scratch with no livelihood and family. My grandfather passed away 7 years ago at the age of 93. He wanted to visit his native village one last time, but you know. It's not possible.

Throughout his life, he use to call out "bauji" and "Biji' while sleeping. That trauma of losing his parents haunted him forever. He also suffered from dementia but that trauma was always there.

I wish to visit my ancestral village someday, but I know it's not possible for Indian citizens. We still have our Kashmiri culture deep rooted inside us here in New Delhi. Lots of love to you and your family. Hope you have an amazing time in Kashmir.

As a Saudi, you absolutely changed my prospective about Pakistan. We have many workers from Pakistan in Saudi and from interacting with them I learned that they are very dignified and humble hard working people. After seeing all your Pakistani clips I came to conclusion that Pakistan is screaming beauty! All the best to you.

I worked at HMETC for four years in Germany...fun fact I had two Punjabi colleagues who where born in Lahore, one Pashtun born in Peshawar and a Indian from Tamil Nadu and I saw that they where getting along very good...they even played for the same team in the German Cricket league (where almost all players where south Asians LOL)...and all claimed that the divide is only in the head of the politicians not the people...

The Pakistanis are such decent chaps . So warm and hospitable. So Unlike the way they are portrayed in the minds of the Indian people. Such a pity politics divides people from the two sides. Good job Karl 👏👍

For non Urdu readers, literally almost everywhere in Karl's Pakistani vlogs I've seen the word "Khush-Amdeed" written and plastered on walls, parks etcetc. Khush-Amdeed, literally translates to 'Welcome'

The people seem so nice. Once again it seems that the real problem between cultures and countries is the politicians and fanatics....people are people.
