From where the irrigation water (60, 000 Cu.M/Day) is coming from? Is it treated effluent, ground water (Borewells) or desalinated water?

This crop takes too much minerals out of the soil, rotate with barley and oats. In different seasons. Keep the straw on the land to build good soil. In 2 or 3 years every 1/3 crop of straw can be used to expand vegetation in less irrigated areas.
