If you are a fan of Cadillac, Acura, Porsche, and BMW Prototypes, watch the video. Get up and close to all of the cars as they unload them from the haulers. Note that the BMW prototypes are only racing in the US at this time. The Ferraris GTP's are not in the IMSA series (in the WEC), as I made Ferrari references, I was thinking of AF Corsa of whom were unloading their #88 Oreca LMP2. Note that AF Corsa also manage the #61 296 Ferrari. Another reason for my confusion. I did eventually film the Penske Porsche 963 in my IMSA Paddock Tour.

I really like these GTPs. I got to see them first-hand in Long Beach!

Man the GTPs look so bad ass!! Cadillac is the best looking and sounding imo though! I actually won the 6 hours at the Glen last weekend on iRacing the Cadillac!

Absolutely stunning machines. So much more interesting than F1. Love it. Great job on the vid and audio tracks.

When they load / unload before or after event, the HV hybrid battery isn't in the car. The battery must be transported separately.

Paddock area for prototypes for an IMSA event and why is there an AF Corse cargo bay? Are you waiting for the GTs?

0:37 Not received yet.
The other customer Porsche is of Proton Competition, which will compete soon.

There are no Ferrari prototypes in IMSA. AF Corsa run in GTD in IMSA and LMP2 and GTE in WEC. They are speculated to be the only possible candidate for a 499P customer team but Ferrari say the car is "too complicated for a non-factory team" so we will see what happens. Jota is the WEC customer Porsche 963 BTW.

Hello 👋

Two moments:
- 04:41 you mention that Porsche/Penske have yet to bring out their cars
- 04:57 the same for AFCorse where "the italians are a little slow"

Do you know where they come from?
I mean, they are based in US obviously, but are they both closer (or not) than other teams, to the venue?

It may depends also on their time-schedule.

- 05:39 also at Daytona and Sebring Porsche/Penske covered their stuff. It's normal in motorsport not showing off solutions/secrets, and not because of us fans filming

Cheers.

Very cool video! I went to the Laguna Seca race last month, it looks like Watkins Glen has much more room for these teams to stretch out than at Laguna Seca.

I've only been to a race weekend on Fri/Sat/Sun though, and never got to see the unloading part (which happens on Thursdays?). Did you film this on a Thursday?

An interesting detail from your video is that the AXR Whelen #31 Cadillac doesn't seem to have fitted all the parts needed to be in its IMSA homologated spec. There's supposed to be a small gurney right at the leading edge of the front wheel arch opening, which has to be there to be IMSA spec compliant, but at Le Mans they ran without that gurney. AXR have separate cars for IMSA and WEC, so it's interesting that this nose looks a bit Le Mans-ish at unloading time.

The doors open on the first car in the video, and u dont show the interior, well that just sucks
