Cybertruck Supercharging! W side Construction Progress! 4 August 2023 Giga Texas Update (07:35AM)

Показать описание
Gigafactory Texas on 4 August 2023! This is where Model Y’s and Cyber Truck production happens!
There was a lot going on today, including me using a brand-new drone, the DJI Air 3! I had to learn its nuances today so some of my video is slightly less "smooth", but as time went on, I think I improved a lot. This drone is fantastic, and the images, zoom and dual lenses makes a huge different. I hope you can tell by these images and the video!
Possibly the biggest news today is a brand-new Cybertruck at the east supercharging station. I say brand new because it is! Plastic on the seats, a bar code sticker on the front hood and more! The new drone gives an amazingly close view of the action and the details, all thanks to the powerful lens and zoom capability! I hope you will enjoy the images and I know you'll be blown away by the video!
In the video introduction, we look back over almost 30 years of changes and progress in the area where Giga Texas is now built. I did this partly to put into context all the major construction sites going on today, including the west side new End-of-Line and new car staging/transportation lot under construction. By the way, Elon Musk has been "liking" my latest postings with all the details, so I guess he is pleased by my work and the progress around the site too!

Cybertruck Supercharging from 27:38 to 28:46
Drone flight overview with discussion & illustration: 0:06 to 5:12
Drone flight footage & infographics: 5:18 to 30:25
Some other highlights from today's drone flight:
West side footing, plumbing, trenching, and earthwork continues for the new End-of-Line (EOL) facility and the new car staging and transportation lot. In fact, the pace of progress here is a standout compared to other construction around Giga Texas, which is really saying something..
On the southwest corner of the main factory, many wall panels have been removed on the ground and up to the second-floor window line, with a lot of plastic in place to help seal off the open sections.
On the southeast and east sides, we see the concrete intersection for River Road is now fully poured and white stain work on the southeast end of Stamping continues to make progress, working to the north.
The east side multi-level parking garage construction site continues to see a lot of earthwork to prepare the grade and it appears the outfall channel may be redirected.
New conduit trenching on the north end of the Megapack site and elsewhere, crews continue to install circuit breakers, the large transformer and wiring to all 68 of the Megapacks and their associated 34 transformers. At the south end of the electrical switchyard, crews continue to prepare forms for the roof of the underground vault.
On the east side of the battery cathode building, we see crews have assembled the two large platform items with equipment that arrived on my previous video. These have been assembled on top of the railing system that will be used to glide in this completed assembly inside the structure.
Also on the battery cathode east side, work continues at the crash track structure, with more rebar for concrete on the south end (covering the underground vault), more bands of the rounded roof installed and a new steel structure on the north end of the slab. The wade pit has now had all concrete walls poured.
North of the battery cathode plant, we see the area that once had a large hill of dirt now being converted into a deep excavated pit. The dirt is being redirected to the west side of the highway, and the deep pit they are creating is very curious. I'm not yet sure what to make of this development.
