Welcome to another Backrooms game, this one being called Backrooms Rec. This experience so far is absolutely stunning and does so much right! The walking experience games for The Backrooms are always a joy, but i've wanted a true danger in the backrooms for such a long time. Finally, this game delivers and it has MULTIPLAYER!!?

21:52 that camera is actually a construction tool. It surveys and scans land to check if it’s suitable to be dug up for construction. Usually if jobs require digging they use these tools to scan the land first to make sure no lines of gas or water get hit

this is the first time I've seen the wire monster not look completely goofy while it chases you
holy crap the dev did the impossible and made me rewatch the first chase like 5 times just to see how insanely well it was done

I love how as the game goes on and gets darker and grittier, Ryan started running and made frantic movements. With the camera pov so well executed in this game, it genuinely looked like a movie and Ryan’s commentary was the main character’s delirious ramblings to keep them calm in this unknown situation.

I love these kinds of games, because it instills that feeling of “You may have not seen the monster, but it’s sure as hell seen you.”

i remember in the first month when "backrooms" as a concept appeared
and i instantly thought of:
what if, since The Backrooms is like, interdimensional rift that traps you out of your dimension, all the entities you could poissibly meet, are just living beings and creatures from other dimensions, planets, worlds etc, that got trapped in Backrooms the same way you do
and not a "preplanned" "infected" monstroucity that exists for the fact of kiling

The true fear that I feel in these games is that the monster isn’t always chasing you in your view
But it’s the fact that something COULD be after you at all times and you don’t even know it
Or just the uncertainty that something could be with you
Someone could make a horror game like the back rooms with no monsters whatsoever and it’d probably be even scarier than having monsters
