Encrypting Data at Rest and Transit - How to Protect Your Data

Protecting data is very important - especially as we move into Cloud Services and move data between systems globally. How can we ensure that my data is encrypted both on my own systems, but also when it is in transit and when it is sitting on someone else's system (like a Cloud Provider such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM, etc).

A common comment on my videos about the Cloud is that "you are letting others read your data!" - no. I'm not. Because I use encryption to protect it.
