Fixing the Hubble Space Telescope is an educational module designed for use in the planetarium for both the general public and for school groups in grades 5-12. The module consists of this handbook and a full-dome video explaining the original problem with Hubble’s optics and the engineering of the fix. The video is narrated, in part, by Dr. Jeffrey Hoffman, one of the astronauts who performed a series of spacewalks to repair the telescope in 1993.
