I picked up a lews speed spin combo at wally world. I can't say I'm too impressed. The rod lacks sensitivity and the reel is not smooth under any strain at all. Even just the resistance of a lip less crank makes it grind and feel crunchy. I'll try adding some lube. Not what I expect from a nearly $100 combo.

Yo trying staying 5-10 feet back since there right at the bank that means there spawning and super aggressive so stay back and you’ll catch way more bc u won’t scare them away
