Nurse Spotlight: Janita Patel, BSN, RN, The Birthing Center

Meet Janita Patel, registered nurse at The Birthing Center. Janita has worked at The Birthing Center for about 10 years, first in Labor and Delivery and now in the Newborn Nursery. A big part of her job is taking care of C-section babies while their mothers recover from delivery. Janita especially likes working at UK HealthCare because, as a teaching hospital, it offers many opportunities to grow in her job.
