Once again, the hockey world proves they are the best guys in the world. No other sport would the fellow teammates or fans treat their emergency players like that. All of these guys were treated like a normal starting player and that's just incredible

i worked in the nhl for nearly 9 years, we could call up a skater and have one at the rink in 1.5 hours but finding a 3rd real goalie is nearly impossible, thats why teams dig into the local mens leagues. we had a front office sales guy almost suit up once because he had played D1 goalie.
