UWEC zoo struggles, visitor numbers still low

Despite the government decision to re-open the Entebbe zoo , the facility is still grappling with a very low turn up of tourists attributed to lockdown on other activities. According to Entebbe executive Director James Musinguzi the facility which used to receive over 500 visitors a day now receives 30-50 only .
