Russia retaliates against US after sanctions

Russia's Foreign Ministry demanded that the United States cut the number of diplomatic staff it has in Russia and said it would seize two US diplomatic properties, in a sharp response to a new sanctions bill passed by the US Congress a day earlier.

Action = reaction. Russia gave the new administration more than enough time to even slightly normalise relations, instead US made it even worse and only because Russia refuses to be a US lapdog.

It's no coincidence that Russia has retaliated BEFORE Trump signs the bill into law. Putin needs to respond to this (since he can't let the world think that Russia is a pushover) but he doesn't want Trump to think that he's retaliating against him. He wants Trump to realize that this is retaliation against the House and Senate and not against him.

Russia has not yet responded to the sanctions adopted in the United States. She only responded to the expulsion of its diplomats. Do not confuse!

What are the terms of the sanctions? Why are these sanctions causing Russia to evict American officials? Are these sanctions reasonable or even necessary? These are the questions that need answers. Does anyone here have the answers?

When the sanction was approved. Wonder what the Russian will do in Syria and Ukraine. Not to mention the gas supply to Europe. All the Russian have to do is jack up the gas price a few percent and they'll recover back what they lost in the sanction.
