I can't stand working with car dealers, they lie, cheat and steal. It's crazy that you can go to multiple dealership for the same and get totally different prices for the same vehicle. THAT'S A HUGE PROBLEM!

They brought it on themselves with the insane price gouging markups. (If they actually do this)

This smells like the manufacturer sets fixed prices for more favourable returns

Auto dealers are crooks the one thing I hate doing is buying a car

Another way to strip more money from the car buyer? Money for the car and money for the service? Better the makers just regain control of dealerships. Or, is it just more smoke and mirrors?

They are wowed because they can’t believe the price being asked for the vehicle. So states that does not allow direct auto sales will have none of the vehicles? Dealerships are not worried because abuse they will just keep saying at high prices and screw customers.

They get into a vehicle and get wowd, yea, it's the high price Mary Barra. I think it's little too late to bypass dealerships. Their unfair markups was going on for sometime and the OEM's ignored it. Good luck with that.

I think it's a bad idea. They still need sales outlets, but they need to be corporate-owned and run. No markups, no haggling, everything sells at MSRP. And the service department would no longer be looked at as a sales department; no commissions, no upselling, people just get the service they actually need

Dealerships take advantage of owners via service departments. They promote unnecessary services like wheel alignments at every opportunity. But how will actually necessary services be delivered otherwise?

Ok how do you test drive a vehicle then? You order a truck or car and get it and then don’t like the way it drives or feel then what? I know without the dealership middle man price add on is not there. So it might lower the price but not by that much. Also now you’re removing jobs by deleting the dealerships. Mechanics, salespeople, maintenance people for the buildings even the people who wash the vehicles. Less people working less money to buy what your selling. I don’t like dealing with dealerships by there is some options that I like to do before I make an investment into something.

So if dealers are not going to sell EV's the manufactures are going to force them onto the consumer.

Another bad idea as it will alienate older customers with money, the customers always want to deal with a mechanic, evs are stupid idea and must be banned entirely

Interesting video. But the constant transition sound effect was distracting and irritating.

the 'innovative technologies' part is a huge red flag for me. Plus... more jobs lost forever, replaced by AI and robotization. I think in the end this will be their undoing. Customers think AI and digitalizing everything is the best thing since sliced bread and demand it... I disagree. I think it would be far better to regulate dealerships so that price gouging can't happen. How can someone buy a car online, sight unseen and never drive it? We're losing the human touch; how bizarre. Anything decided by 'corporate' is for one aim: more profits - for the CEOs. If this narrator uses the word "seamless" one more time I think I might be ill.
