Reading some comments and ppl have ridiculous expectations of base designs. This is not unraidable it’s a cheap solo bunker base. If you don’t like the stair bunker leave it out, mixing tables can be placed and pickup if there is no permanent spot, use your vast experience and find a place to place a windmill. It’s a 15 -30 rocket raid depending on material and route. If you don’t like it build a larger base and spend your days farming.

I just have to say how much I appreciate how clear you are in communicating exactly how to build this and how it works. People being able to easily follow what you're doing is a bigger deal than i think some realize, given how many build tutorials I see that go way too fast and don't provide much explanation.

I finished this build yesterday but with double doors since I dont have garage yet. Logged in today and had a failed raid. The blew in on both bottom ans middle floor, they took out all 7-8 double doors and the stairs but when they saw the hq bunker they gave up. So I could repair/rebuild and I added 1 extra honey comb layer and wood walls around base. Thanks. Looks lile this base could be a winner.

I build that base inside a village, on a shall water near lighthouse.
The base was outsite honeycomb stone and inside high qual/Metallfrag

Pros:
The Building is easy to build and has a lot of place once the garage doors are in. The Window for doorcampers got me one time killed, they shoot a DB thro, but they couldnt get my haz/tommy. So thats a point.
I could sort the stuff out i had and put everything inside into safety. Even had place for electricity. Bunker wasnt expensiv to hold and even the close up was easy and cheap.
Roofcamping (for defens) was pretty easy. Could helpt the village a lot and even was able to call out the enemys on the hill.
Heli was easy as well to take down from there

Contras:
Sometimes, it was hard for me to jump out of the bunker. Same goes for the roof, would be easyer if i placed a triangle hatch there. (But maybe im just a n00b at jumpn run)
Roof defens is a bit tricky, i got sometimes just headshooted and even in front of the base befor even looting my stuff back killed by granades. You can be easyly taken down.
As i got raidet by a 5 mann big group with scrap heli and stuff, if they to nearby the base, you cant see them at all. You feel like cornered and unable to do sht.
They rocket me until they got in the core (if they wanna go deep, they always go deep)

I would give the Base 7 of 10 Points
Was a great wipe in this Base but wouldnt build again.

My son and I have been using variations of this design on console for a while now. We upgrade everything to sheet (HQM core). The two innermost garage doors we use armored. I vary the roof a bit for 5 turret coverage. And I build attached large furnace and refinery buildings on the flanks. Utilize electric furnaces. No compound walls. External tc’s to prevent griefing.

Extreme turtle base. Nobody has successfully raided us yet, online or off. And the upkeep isn’t even bad for all that metal and HQM.

Instead of just placing the roof with two triangle floors to cap it off at the top I added another garage door leading to a triangle frame with a ladder hatch so I can climb up onto the top of the roof and then I placed outward facing triangle roofs at the tip top and made an additional shooting roof. 👌

I also placed a ladder hatch in the cieling after the front door airlock to climb into my shooting floor that way rather than using a jump up. This way if Im being raided through the doors I can open the ladder hatch and it blocks the airlock. 🔥🔥🔥

Took a couple of attempts getting the terrain placement right but I'm loving this base design.

with the triangle planter box you can make the roof also a little farm. Also you can compound around very easy or make the front entrance a guard post with adding 3 triangles. I survived a whole month once with this design, but had to rebuild the front almost daily at the end.

I built this base today. Great design. I made a few changes. I left the pancake layer open for more storage, added a half shelf on the 3rd triangle floor in to tuck away 3 furnaces, instead of the 2nd half height shelf on the 2nd floor I added a garage door to the honeycomb to store away a battery, last I got ride of the siren light jump up for the peak down floor and added a ladder hatch which doubles as another air lock if placed correctly

great shit the raid cost to tc is pretty similar to large bases the only issue is the shooting floor which can be improvised great base thank you

Just built it, like it a lot! Only change I made was instead of siren light jump ups I put triangle ladder hatches for an easier climb and a little more defense. It may block the stair bunker for core, haven't tried it yet

My favourite base so far.. resisted a offline raid (the guy spent almost two hours blowing up stuff 😂) and he didn't passed the first second floor.. I'm guessing he went out of boom.. sure, he took my workbench and some loot but didn't got close the TC.

Thank you so much, I'm very new to the game and this helped me loads, specially in my server where everyone offlines. The only change I did is I built the front side towards a mountain, so the TC is extra protected from that side. Thanks again!

Hey i built the base, i really like it, but i built it in the first 2 hrs of wipe on vanilla bcs i got a good location with a lot of nodes. Can u make an upgrade video with that design with extra TCs outside and maybe a roof and more stuff ? I building now some more extra room to make it harder for raiders
